Let me guess, 40 is “comfortable” in the summer :P
Cold can be escaped through warm clothes. Heat is easy to produce.
Hot weather can’t be escaped and air conditioning is complex. Plus the city frowns on my walking around naked, for some stupid reason :D

5°C? You might want to put some clothes on. A pair of shorts and a polo shirt should suffice.

That’s not cold at all.

5c isn’t Super cold. Forecast is for around -6c (and I’m sure there are Canadians who will laugh at that being cold) tonight which will make the slightly melted snow fun tomorrow.
That’s three roads there. Most of the issue has been with falling tree branches with the weight of the snow. Lots of trimming is going to be needed.

Us chilangos we complaint about everything; we like our weather mild, think 17-27 makes us very happy!
You should see how people dress here, it looks like a ski resort without the snow; everyone is really covered up! But then again, should the weather hit 30 we can still wear a proper suit and tie without complaint!

Our average atmospheric low is -4.4 c
Imagine if you where just 10 degrees above the atmospheric low!

Don’t feel bad, if you live in a mild climate without a lot of temp fluctuations, it’s normal. Old people who retire and move to Florida are only comfortable from 20-35C, and that’s going from large coats to t-shirts.
One summer I was in England and watched the daytime temperatures drop from 28 to about 22 and everyone put on sweaters (or jerseys or jumpers or whatever the Limeys call them...)
